Excellent beef, kimchi and passion - sounds like the recipe for a perfect hamburger. Simon Parrott born in England but met street food in the german capital. Finally love brought him to Holland where he now makes the award-winning burger.
He prepares all the ingredients, then goes to festivals. He always makes the meat himself to assure perfect quality. His goal is to make The best burger in the country. The meet is from local farmers, prepared carefully, grilled with devotion.
The most important ingredient beside meat and the bread is Kimchi. Simon bumped into Kimchi on a nice Berlin night out. Kimchi is a traditional fermented Korean side dish made of vegetables with a variety of seasonings.
It is often described as spicy and sour. There are hundreds of varieties of kimchi made from napa cabbage, radish, scallion, or cucumber as a main ingredient. Simon makes it with carrots.
Many consider Kimchi one of the healthiest foods ever, thanks to the beneficial lactobacillus in it. It supports digestion and prevent fungal infections.
Simon moved to Berlin in the spirit of adventure, then three years ago came to Amsterdam in the spirit of love. Here, he already have won a hamburger competition. Since that you can meet Simon in various festivals and markets, we found him at Food Soul Festival.
