WhatTheFood Sweet Nothing


Remco Van de Lagemaat visited Paris as a student for first time. Basically he thought the same thing as I did; too crowded, too expensive. He had to visit more to fall in love with it. He is now bringing this feeling to Rotterdam through the Bistrot du Bac.

When he was thinking what is missing the most from Rotterdam he found that mostly a bit of Paris. He always loved the french cuisine so he started his restaurant. He likes traditions and he is not aiming for creating something new everyday, he rather masters the classics. He is often changing his menu and often serving sometimes bizarre dishes like blood sausage or pork cheek.
