The small picnic basket was filled with the half kilo of salmon fillets and ginger and we were off to the beach of Hoek van Holland. We started with smoking the fish but we had to deal first with the Dutch September wind. Finally we managed! Check out the "making of" film to see how smoked salmon is made for the chapter of MENU 2!

Eszter Laki graphic designer and Balázs Glódi photographer visited me from Budapest. They came to get to know me and my gastro-blog. While the original MENU focused on stories from Budapest, the second edition is more about the countryside of Hungary and life in abroad. So that is why I was selected.

Many stories about people, emotions, joy and anxiety - so about hardcore weekdays. But we are talking about a cookbook, so the recipes cannot be missing.

As I mentioned earlier MENU is one of the coolest cookbooks what I've ever seen, so I was happy when one of the authors wrote me. In the new book there will be 22 different stories mainly from Europe interviewed by Kamilla Mihály.
