Ready to go!

Everything has started with this perfect roasted duck. It was like what my mother makes. I dedicate this blog to her, so she can see what her grown up son eats 1500 kilometers away in The Netherlands. WhatTheFood blog is about personal stories, flavors and emotions.

The two of us are writing this blog: Gergő Hevesi and Norbert Adam Kiss. We're living in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Our aim is to become real "rotterdammers", the way the locals specified themselves. Who lived here knows what is means. Thanks to our films we will able to share this experience.

We both like to experience with food at the beginning bonded us together. It was always important for us to be conscious about what we eat. We're writing about our cultural adventures where the Dutch lifestyle has the leading role and our guests are interesting and exceptional people.

Sometimes we're shooting or making photos. In other times we're cooking and tasting. Or we just keep our eyes open. It's not a job, but our hobby and our passion. Sweet nothing.
